To have your router get a better signal, try placing it an a open area, like a loft area or a living room. Most homes nowadays have loft areas where most people place their entertainment center, computer desk etc.

∙ 10y agoThe type of router you would need to receive a signal would depend on what signal you are trying to receive. To receive a wireless signal for your internet you will want one with a higher speed in order to process your information quicker.
