Here are things to try.

- Drink lot's of water.

- Eat Healthy ( Vitamins )

- Get a cuticle cream or oil ( i use oil it's better)

- Hand Cream

- commercial growth activator

- Hard stuff will stop your nails peeling or breaking.

- Grow them in SUMMER it makes the growth faster.

START FROM SCRATCH. It's no use trying to grow your nails long and even if they are all different sizes to begin with. Get some good quality nail clippers and clip the white tips of your nails off so you can only see the pink part of your nails. 2

Use a nail file to get rid of any ragged white parts that the nail clippers didn't cut of. Don't file back and forth, it is bad for your nails. 3

Get a bottle of clear nail varnish and give every nail a coat of polish. Apply an extra coat if necessary. This will strengthen and reduce chipping and splitting to the nails. 4

Well, mine grow back REALLY quick but sometimes it takes them awhile to come back but if I want them longer I just don't peel, clip, or bite them off.
