How do you manually delete some files that wont uninstall as the imvu toolbar is still there although I have uninstalled it?

If nothing helps, you need to edit the registry manually. For that you need to start regedit (start->run->regedit). The press Ctrl+F, type imvu. Delete all references (read below).
