How do you manually rise the top on a 1993 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible that is stuck all the way open?

It takes alot of muscles. You have to pull it up. Because of the hydralic air bags that lift the top, you have to gently but firmly pull the top up so you don't damaged them. Takes some time but doable. I did this for a summer then found the motor for the top and replaced it. You could also, disconnect the motor from the pump, this would be much easier.

AnswerNot sure what the problem is exactly, but I will say...don't force it! The framework will bend. I forced mine up. nothing bent. you need help from a friend. apply constant pressure lifting upwards and then pushing forwards. it goes slowly but will work. one person on each side. try to stay even with your helper so it doesn't twist

I think you need to take out the back seat and go thru the trunk and turn the latch manully, then check your lock cyc. connection to the latch assembly.
