### How many chocolate chips equal 4 squares unsweetened chocolate?

Baking chocolate squares are about 1 ounce of chocolate
(although some may be smaller 1/2 ounce squares). You can use a
food scale to measure out the corresponding amount of chocolate
chips - ie 4 ounces of chips for 4 squares. If you don't have a
scale I've found that this usually works out to about 3/4 cup of
chocolate chips.

### What is the recipe for a Chocolate fountain?

To make a chocolate fountain recipe you will need chocolate
chips in your choice of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi
sweet chocolate, unsweetened chocolate baking squares, and
vegetable oil. For 48 ounces of chocolate chips, you will need six
squares of unsweetened chocolate, and 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil.
Combine everything in a double boiler and mix it well until
everything is melted and incorporated.

### How many semi sweet chocolate chips equals one square of semisweet baking chocolate?

1 square =1 ounce = 1/3 cup chocolate chips
2 squares = 2 ounces = 2/3 cup
3 squares = 3 ounces = 1 cup
Caution with the above answer: I am holding a package of
Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips. On the package it says 2 cups
and net weight is 12 oz. So obviously a cup is not 3 oz, but 6 oz.
If you use 3 oz for a cup you will be short changed.
2 oz = 1/3 cup
4 oz = 2/3 cup
6 oz = 1 cup
