Another way is to download a pre modded halo map and replace the current map with it (Be sure to backup the original)

∙ 14y agothere is a small chance you can mod halo 3 maps as Bungie will 'Be keeping an eye on every game.' but you can download Modded maps, if either friends have it.
*Warning* - Don't put any modded content on your FILE SHARE as bungie will catch you and issue you with a ban from your file share, this may last for 7 days or so. but keep violating their laws, you may have a Permanent ban from using your File share.

∙ 12y ago2 things. halo doesnt need matchmaking moders yet. and if you just wanna do a few forge mods you had better have 55 bucks for a transfer cable 100 for a hard drive and 100 dollars to get unbaned for a month and if you dicide to get a new xbox its 250 for the system and 7.55 per month. so its eather

∙ 14y agoA good idea is to have a Custom Edition of Halo, that way you can run custom maps for Halo. The builder for custom maps is called Halo Map Editor, do a Google search for it.
