First, you will have to tell us where you live (state or country) and which license you are referring to- Licensing regulations vary from state to state, and vary ENORMOUSLY from country to country. There are licenses to OWN guns, to CARRY guns concealed, and to SELL or repair guns. You need to be a lot more specific with your question. ∙ 15y agoI'm just about 100% sure this is right, but if anyone from California knows, please correct me. You contact your local sheriff's department. Rules different from locality to locality, so it depends on what the local sheriff's policy is. In some counties, it's easy to get a permit, in some, it's very difficult or impossible.
