To the left of the engine - in the coolant tank
there is no latch inside the vehicle. When the doors are unlocked, push on the left side of the tank cover and it will spring open.
My locks were not working properly on my 2007 328i so I opened gas cover latch manually by going into trunk, opening right side cover by taillight, then pulling on plastic latch relase.
Press on the left side of door it will flip open.
There is no latch. The fuel door locks/unlocks with the doors.
i am unsure how to make an adjustment to the release, but on mine the latch inside the tank door is bent in slightly, so the release on mine doesnt work. the door appears to be latched, but it easily open by pulling the tank door open.
Right next to the driver's seat on the floor, there is a small pull tab. This releases the cover of the gas tank.
What year is your car? I have a 2001 Galant GTZ and my gas door is one that you have to push. Mine you push the right side of the fuel door.

How to open gas tank cx 5
You can open the gas tank on an Infinite g37, as you would open the gas tank on any other vehicle. It is a rather simple process once you locate the switch. Pull the switch to open the tank.
The tank that is located under the battery on a 2004 Toyota Sienna is a windshield washer fluid tank. Toyota put this tank in this position on the 2004 to 2010 models of the Sienna.
my 2004 aztek has an 18 gallon tank
Just Push on the left hand side of the fuel door and it should open. If it is locked, open the truck and on the left hand side, just above the little storage basket there should be a silver loop. pull on it and it will unlock the fuel door and allow you to open it by pushing on the left hand side. There is no latch or button to push to open it.
The capacity of a 2004 Nissan Maxima gas tank is 20 gallons.
Yes you can on some vehicles, you just need to disable or remove the latch that holds the cover closed. Some vehicles if you do this the cover will just stay open because of the spring that helps to open it once you pull the release lever.
Take a thin metal ruler or a thin screw driver and try to push in the latch. This will bend the latch so it'll open, then when it's fixed, you just bend it back. On many more recent cars (since 1985) the first aid is to open the trunk, locate the tank cover cable, and ease back on it whilst trying to lift the cap. If that opens it, feel for cover spring action; the spring is on the side opposite the latch and often fatigues in half. These springs are almost impossible to find. If the cover won't open it may be warped due to a zealous station attendant etc. Usually you can unwarp it with care not to foul up the hinge. Otherwise, the cable has slipped on its clamp at one end or the other. Usually the cable needs to be replaced by a mechanic.

Open the hood and look to your left and right below the coolant reserve tank you should see a silver steel line going across the engine at the very front of the hood right by the hood latch and you will see on the left side right on this line a black cap and that is your "recharge port" for the R134A AC. hope this helps! I got a 2001 SE and that is where mine is.... :-)
Tank - album - was created in 2004.
cable isn't working or the tab/latch on the fuel cap door is binding. Have one person releasing the door while at the same time another person gently prying the door open. Then see what is going on inside with the mechanisms.
