try looking up from underneth,look for cable running too latch try pulling on it . also have someone pull release inside as someone else pushs down on hood to get it to release
It's in a cast aluminum container on the bottom of the engine toward the front passenger side,you will see a square hole. The filter is inside, it is a cartridge type filter. Filters are at your Toyota dealer and come with 2 "O" rings, an adapter to drain oil from the housing, plus directions.
I assume that the latch is broken? You can get a stiff wire and poke it in the hole on the right inside section of the handle - hook the release lever and pull down while pulling outward. If this doesn't work or the hole is blocked by part of the handle, then you'll have to pull the paneling off from the inside. Look on the Toyota Sequoia boards - there are tons of explanations on how to do this and some even provide pictures. You probably will need to replace the rear handle - not that hard a job. The dealer wanted $400; I did it for $15 with an eBay knockoff.

The black hairs that come out of moles shouldn't be pulled out. They are connected to the roots of the mole. Pulling these out will cause the bottom of the mole to come out the top, literally pulling it inside out. This will create a cyst out of the now inside out mole that will in tine fall off and become a cancerous tumor.

If you haven't already done this, try holding the trunk release button down for a few seconds on your remote. Toyota set it up this way so that you don't accidentally open the trunk when you mean to lock the doors. There is also a button inside the glovebox that will disable or enable that function. try pressing it and then use the remote.
You need to open the trunk and pull clips that secure plastic lining inside the trunk. Next, unclip sensor, turn bulb socket to remove it from the assembly and pull the bulb out of the socket and replace it with a new bulb.
