A job interview is something to prepare for. You know the job (and associated skills) that you are applying for, you know the company's personality (or you should have found out) so make your answer make your seem to fit. In this question about hobbies:
Then, think about what they may require. They can ask you related questions. For example, "Are you available between ......?".
Also, look presentable. In fact, wear similar clothing to the employees clothing. The last thing you should wear is ripped clothes. In other words, don't wear them.

Make sure you know the company's location. Go on a practice run so that you know how much time you will need to get there and park.

Having worked in career guidance for over 12 years and in addition to working in management and having interviewed thousands of people over the years, the one main piece of advice I would give is 'BE YOURSELF'.
If you try and be someone you think that employer wants, the job may not be the right one for you. If, on the other hand, they like you for YOU, and you feel you struck a rapport with the interviewers, then there is a match.
You need to ensure you research the company thoroughly, know who the key personalities are, their mission statement etc. You must also be honest, i.e. if you don't really understand what they are asking for, tell them and they will rephrase the question.
1. wear a suit ALWAYS- other wise you look unprofesional
2. have your resumae ready in hand in a folder not a clear paper cover sheet
3. your hair if your a female should be pulled back either half or fully never out ( if your in the buisness world)
4. if your a male have it neat and a bit of gel and make sure there are no stray bits
5. if you want an assistant (looking for the right person for the job) ask for every tiny detail to see if hey're right under pressure
just make your confidence seen by your good smile but not to big . do not give chances of making you insulte. don't hesitate while you are answering there questions. frame your ideas before you speak. if by mistake your mouth cough camed out then say excuse me . do not gramical mistakes inyou r language . be polite . if you are not fit you can go on a morning walk or excerxice rather than wasting money on going to gym.just try to look smart in your dress but you can also use face wash.
Here are some tips:
look direct to eye of the interviewer, answer the question the best of your knowledge.talk slowly and correctly.
1. Wear professional clothing that pleases the person.
2. For guys, wear black suits.
3. For ladies, wear skirts that reach the knees.
The best way to have a great interview is by demonstrating you meet the requirements outlined in the job description. You can do this by practicing behavioral questions that fit what they are looking for based on the job description.

In preliminary interview the applicant is given the job details enabling him to decide whether the job will suit him.
