You might not have good results if you grow a pear tree from a seed. Many Pears are grafted. They will take hardy, wild rootstock and graft a fairly weak branch to it. The pear will, then be fertilized by who-knows-what other pear and the seeds may produce a tree that bears poor quality fruit or the tree may be weak. If you want a good, strong, fruit bearing tree you get the best results by getting a young tree from a nursery. If all you want to do is get the seeds to grow, you can plant them in a well-drained pot with potting soil. You should have sprouts in a couple weeks.
approx. 2-4 days after u plant it. if of course u germinate it first. to germinate a pear seed, get some toilet paper or a towel and well saturate it, put the seed in it and wait until it is very very long then take it out and put it into a cup filled w/ top soil.
first you take the seed out then u plant it and top it with dirt then water it every two days. I have a pear tree
First you take the seed out of the pear and then you dig a hole in topsoil. After you do that you have to cover the seed up with the topsoil that you dug. Last you water the seed and let it grow!!
