Set up the PS3 to work and turn on your TV and PS3. Place the DVD into the game slot. Pick up your controller and use the keys to move down to the spot that looks like a piece of film. Below that spot will be a disc, go to it and use your X key to start the DVD loading. When the disc finishes the Promos you will have to hit the X again to play the movie after the controller has been used to move highlighted area over the word play.
PS3 must be connected to a 1080 p HDTV with an HDMI cable and the setting set for that, then you put the disc in the Drive and click it when it comes on the screen. Without a HDTV with 1080 p and the correct A/V cables you can not play in 1080 p
Sony makes it clear in there ads that the 1080 p HDTV and HDMI Cable must be purchased seperately
Video output in HD requires cables and an HD-compatible display, both sold separately. Copy-protected Blu-ray video discs can only output at 1080p using an HDMI cable connected to a device that is compatible with the HDCP standard. HDMI cable not included. If a device that is not compatible with the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) standard is connected to the system using an HDMI cable, video and/or audio cannot be output from the system. Due to manufacturing differences, some optical discs may not perform properly.
Just put the DVD where you would put the PS2 game. You use the PS2 controller to control the movie (play, pause, fast forward, etc.).
You put in the DVD like you are going to play a ps2 game, but instead the movie menu will come up.
ps3 games are bluray disc
Currently, no. You should get a PS3 to do that.
A DVD player cannot play a BluRay disc. A BluRay player can play both BluRay discs and DVDs.
If you mean How do you Play PS3 games on High Resolution using a PS3 then it must be connected to a HDTV with a HDMI or component cable and the PS3 setting menu should be for HD. PS3 games will not play on a Blue Ray disc Player that is not the PS3 console
Yes they are. They all play DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.Yes they do. They need to be connected to the HDTV with 1080P and a HDMI cable for the Bluray to work as a Blue ray disc player
Yes. All PS3 games are blu-ray.
It does not Play and it does not damage the game or the computer if it is not scratched while you are doing it. Computers can not Play PS3 games and many computers do not even have BluRay disc drives to read the discs that most PS3 games come on
No
No if the laptop had Blu ray reader it just could not play the game or run the program and if it did not then it still would not break, but PS3 discs are Bluray. It serves no purpose to put a PS3 disc in a Laptop
All you have to do is to insert to DVD or Blu-ray in the disc slot, go into Videos, wait for the disc to load, then select the disc shaped icon. Enjoy your movie! You also could buy or rent it from the Playstation Store or get it from your Netflix account
No, PS3 games will not work in a PS2. Fit is not the problem. The PS3 games are not able to be "read" by a PS2 machine just like you can not play a Blu-ray Disc in a DVD player even though it will fit in the slot. The reason the Disc will fit is so the PS3 can play DVD's and up scale them to HD quality and that is why they did not make Blu Ray discs a different size from DVDs.
No they do not have BluRay capability on Xbox or Xbox 360! That's why you should get the ps3, because the ps3 does!
