Don't smoke. Eat healthy. Exercise. Keep your weight within the range that the American Health Association recommends, based on your height, age and physique. Once an adult, get a physical at least yearly to check blood pressure and overall health. Try to manage your stress, either though meditation, yoga, exercise, dance or 'mind over matter'. Learn to work moderately, have entertaining activities and play every day. Certain stress relieving techniques work well for idvividuals. Some people sing, some play a musical instrument, some walk, some bicycle, etc, etc, etc. Find what works for you. Plenty of fresh vegetable, fruits and berries. Onions and garlic is good. fish oil - omega 3 more than omega 6.

Plenty of grains, vegetables and fruits, with emphasis on raw foods.

Moderate amounts of raw and sprouted seeds and nuts should be used.

Avoid animal fats, eat lean meat (poultry) and plenty of fish.

Exercise: Daily (or at least five times a week) exercise for 30 minutes - enough to get a bit out of breath and feel warm.

If you find it hard to incorporate into your daily routine then use the technique of small amounts often during the day. (Walk instead of short car ride, climb stairs instead of lift, go for a 5 minute stroll a few times duringthe working day etc).

Watch your weight and get a medical check up where they will check things related to your heart health: blood pressure and cholesterol, tryglycerides, blood sugar levels and markers of kidney function.
