How do you protect the ozone layer from cfcs?
We must bane the using of CFC or we must use less CFC to protect the ozone layer from this harmful gas
CFCs (chloro-fluoro-carbons) are harmful to the ozone layer. they used to be used in aerosol sprays and fridges until scientists discovered they were causing holes to form in the ozone layer. they aren't used anymore, but some developing countries are still producing them. ban the use of CFCs worldwide, and you would definitely help stop the destruction of the ozone layer.
CFCs damage the ozone layer. One example of the consequences of CFCs is the ozone layer hole right above the South Pole. There is evidence to suggest that CFCs, or chlorofluorocarbons, deplete the ozone layer. the problem with this, is that with the depletion of the ozone layer comes a loss of protection from harmful UV radiation from the sun. For example, in New Zealand where the air is purest and the ozone layer thinner…
The ozone layer was depleted from the actions of CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) released into the atmosphere last century. CFCs were used in aerosols and fridges and escaped into the air where the winds gradually moved them all around the world and up to the ozone layer. There chlorine broke from the CFCs and destroyed the ozone.
