with hood off and grill completely off vehicle. you should be able to lift it right out the top of the vehicle. Some of these vans, especially the newer one, the engine has to be removed from the bottom of the vehicle, but this model can be taken from the top, also with the small engine as the 2.6 L it should definitely be taken from the top. It's been a while but you need to drop the whole front end out. Frame, motor and tranny. You will need to pull the drive shafts out on both sides. Disconnect everything from the engine and transmission and than unbolt the frame assembly. Lower the assembly, you may also need to raise the body to clear it out.
