If it is just one or a small amount of pictures an easy way is to email them to yourself, as an attachment. You need to use the Mail programme on the iPod for this. Then just open the email and press your finger for a few seconds on the picture. It will come up with the option 'save Image' press that and there you go! Probably not the most efficient way, as sometimes images loose their picture quality. :(
This really annoyed me as I wanted some photos on my Ipod.
