If it is the Comfort Flex Seat, raise seat to it's highest level, place 2x4 under front nose of seat to protect seat from slipping and crushing your hand. Unbolt the two bolts that hold a clamp of metal around cross tube above battery and oil tank. Remove plate from under tube by sliding it's tabs out of slots. Now unbolt rear seat bolts from rear fender. Take care lifting seat assembly to avoid scratching rear fender, frame and fuel tanks from the floppy under seat assembly.
loosen the two 14mm headed bolt on either side of the seat, slide the bolts slightly forward towards the front of the bike and lift it off. they are not hinged or locked like other bikes or yamaha models. also special seats differ from standards as the don't interchange easy.
First, remove the seat by removing the bolt behind the seat, then pulling back and up on the seat. Next, remove the bolt at the rear of the tank, set the petcock to the closed position (straight up), remove the fuel hose from the tank, remove the vent hoses (2) from the other side of the tank, then apply force in an upward motion to get the tank to release from the rubber tank mounts.
To remove the seat on a road king classic you will need to take a screw driver and remove all the bolts then remove the passenger side seat.
At the back of the seat is a chrome T40 Torx head screw into the fender. Remove it, lift the back of the seat and slide it backwards.
First, remove the two side covers. You will see a allen-keyed bolt where the forward/top part of the side cover was at. Remove the bolt on each side and the pull the seat forward and up.
To remove the seat on a Harley Davidson Road King, you must unscrew the Philips head screw that is directly behind the seat. Then, slide the seat and unfasten the hook at the front of it.
Remove the seat. Remove the battery. Replace the battery. Replace the seat.
Remove the screw behind the seat that goes into the top of the rear fender. Lift the rear of the seat and pull straight back, away from the fuel tank. If there is a passenger grab strap, you can pull the seat through the strap or remove the strap.
No it wont fit (from experience) the frame shape is different as is the front seat mount

remove bolt on the back of passenger seat, pull that back and out. Then driver seat just pulls back and out as well.

Unscrew the rear chrome screw on top of fender and a screw on left and right side of seat and pull up and back and remove.
Beneath the seat and middle of the frame.
On the 09 king quad 750, the air filter is under the panel just in front of the seat. Remove the seat and then remove the panel. Once you remove the panel you will see the air filer. Remove the bolt holding the air filter on and then your set.
you have to remove the seat to gain access to the battery. shouldn't take around 30 minutes to take out the old and put in the new. start by removing the rear seat screw on the rear fender, then remove one nut on the grab strap across the seat and you are ready to remove the seat by grasping the rear of the seat and pulling rearward as the front of the seat is in a slot.
It is almost universal on motorcycles for the battery to be located under the seat.
