Phil, I recently had an experience with a similar virus. What I used to finally get rid of it, after trying alot of things, was a combination of a free anti-virus program called "AVG" and another free scanning program called "Ad-Aware". Download the programs to your computer. Then run them in safe mode if posible. Remove anything that they find wrong. On Windows XP: Restart windows in safe mode (press F8 after 2nd boot screen), then: 1. browse to c:\windows\system32 and search and delete bridge.dll 2. browse to c:\documents and settings\YOURUSERNAME\local settings\temp and delete all files restart windows in normal mode.
