How do you remove a bumper from a Honda Accord?
This video on YouTube (see Related Links) will show you how to remove the front bumper cover from of a 2004-2007 Honda Accord.
Is it true that to remove the bumper of a 2002 Honda Accord the latches that hold it on have to be broken?
first remove the bumper turn lights...two screws on one each light..then remove the lights carefully, so you do not break them.... After that...remove the bumper screws in the wheel wells.... Then, where you have removed the bumper lights...with a socket extension..and a 12 mm socket...remove two bolts on each bumper mounts.....then the bumper should come off in a forward direction.... you now have access to both headlight assemblys.
Very easy. You will find 1 phillips screw on each side of the bumper cover. Remove those. There are 4 bolts size 10mm to remove. You will then have to remove plastic clips holding the bumper in place. 5 on the top and some more on the bottom. Yo also have to remove the grill. This video will walk you through the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNBrRvy_-os
To remove the headlamps you will have to remove the front bumper first. There are some bolts on the inside of the wheel well. You must get under the car and remove about 8 clips from the bottom of the bumper and two from the top. The books say to disconnect the battery so your airbags dont deploy but i never had to.the bumper comes right off and then you remove 2 bolts that hold the headlight…
yes it does fit...94-97 have the same bumpers. Someone else answered the above statement. I answered below, and have actually done this. 94-95 have the same bumper, pretty much exactly. 96-97 has a different bumper, but it can fit on the 94-95. A 96-97 bumper can also fit a 94-95 bumper. The bumper brackets are different though between the two models. Whatever year the bumper is for, get that same year bracket.
