Your dishwasher may have a leak. Look under it with a flashlight just after it's finished a wash.
In your kitchen what is depositing in to the drain? If u hav the sink , dishwasher and washing machine u are more likely getting a smell that is a simple job of usual products to clean the dishwasher of the smell if its nt that its the job if grounds men that have to fix the outside drainage
The milk can't be saved throw it out. The smell in the kitchen will dissipate over time, set up a fan to increase airflow in the kitchen. Wash thoroughly the pan you burned the milk in.
A dishwasher can cause a bad smell at the kitchen sink. most of the time it is either the disposal it self, or drain tube is full of food by material, between disposal and baffle tee, or if have or had leaks could be coming from under cabinet, mold and bactieria growing
The smell is probably from residue of soapy dirty water. You could try running the rinse cycle (no clothes) with hot water and bleach or a nice-smelling cleaning solution.

Remove the plastic cap as much as you can. Pull gently or leave it alone. Don’t scrape it off. It will damage the heating element. Unload the dishwasher and set those dishes aside. If you can bi pass the wash cycle and set it to dry cycle only, let it run for 20 minutes or longer. It will burn out the rest of the plastic smell and eventually go away. If this doesn’t work, run the dishwasher empty. More than likely the element is used to heat water and dry dishes. Once the smell is gone, rewash the previous load with detergent.

Upgrade your cycle. Use both cups in dispenser and fill with detergent. Use fresh detergent. Dishwashing detergent powder does not have a long shelf live. Pour detergent in a zip lock bag to store.
