To remove the factory radio you need a Phillips head screw driver. You will first remove the screw from the cigar lighter area behind the gear shifter. This is the only screw on the panel that you need to remove right now. Next step you will do is either pry off the panel or pull from where you screwed out and pop off panel. Be carefull not to pull or yank too hard because of all of the wiring to the cigar lighter and your a/c unit. After you have removed the panel you will notice that there is only four screws holding in your factory stereo. Unscrew all four and you will be able to pull it out and remove the wiring in the rear.
