To The Owner of the 1986 Pontiac 6000: I am the owner of two 1985 6000 STE's and my fuel filter is an inline filter on the right side of the car. It is about the size of a soda can. First, shut of power so when you remove the fuel filter, very little fuel will come spurting out. Next, after removing the old filter, plug in a new filter, then restore power.
