Just brought a 1996 Dodge Caravan, cannot find where to turn wipers on? Everything has been tried on the steering arm.
If you have a steering lock, that can lock your steering wheel in place, until you use the key in the ignition to unlock it.
You cannot adjust the belt tension on a 2000 dodge grand caravan. This vehicle is equipped with an automatic tensioner. If tensioner is frozen or will not hold the belt tight, it must be replaced.
You cannot adjust the timing on this vehicle without an aftermarket timing adjuster or bychanging it through the PCM.
It sounds like the steering wheel is locked, try to wiggle the wheel at the same time you turn the key.
Wiggle the steering wheel back and forth and run the transmission shifter down then put it firmly back into park.
your question is not very clean on your exact problem. I do know that saturns do have the tendancy to "Lock" the steering wheel to the point you cannot turn the ignition key. to remedy this, move the wheel back and forth with force while turning the key, sometimes the lock pin can get bound up in the steering column and prevent the key from turning.
make sure you put the switch in right side up and made sure you are pushing in the release button on the steering coloum -left side and make sure there is no pressure on the steering wheel from the steering box, hope this helps
Nissan transponder keys cannot be programmed by the vehicle owner. Contact an automotive locksmith or the dealer.
You cannot bypass or reset the Securilock anti-theft system on a 99 Ford Ranger. If the system begins to malfunction and you can no longer start the vehicle, you will likely need to replace the transponder unit that is located behind the ignition in the steering column.
No. You cannot, you can only do that on a house.
If you accidentally turn the ignition to the locked position while the car is moving then your steering wheel will lock in its current position which is dangerous. Vehicle ignitions that use keys have a built in safety device that prevents the key from being removed while the switch is in any position except "lock". In some older vehicles the key can be removed due to wear on the safety latch. In a vehicle with automatic transmission you cannot turn the ignition to the lock position unless the transmission is in "P" or Park position. With a manual transmission you can switch it off in any gear.
You must replace the ignition switch if you cannot get the key out.
u cannot , it has no power steering pump, electric steering assisted
there isn't a traditional ignition coil on this vehicle, it is part of the distributor cap, and cannot be replaced as a separate part. on my 97 sebring 2.5L it cost around 350 dollars for the cap and coil a few years ago.
That code is vehicle specific. A Chevrolet and a Ford could both have that same code and have them mean completely different things. So without knowing the exact year, make, or model of vehicle I cannot tell you the exact problem. For a Ford vehicle code P1351 is; Ignition Diagnostic Monitor circuit Input fault. For a Chevrolet vehicle code P1351 is; Ignition Coil Control Circuit High Voltage.
Tranny coolers cannot do any harm to any vehicle, but are mainly used and strongly recommended for those vehicles that regularly pull trailers.
Depends on the vehicle, some cars/trucks have ingntion/key locks( example mid 90's GMC pickups), a buttom/tab needs to be pressed. If it is not a vehicle like this, the ignition lock/cylinder is going bad/needs replacing.
If you can not unlock the steering wheel after turning the key in the ignition, or are having trouble starting the car i.e. not being able to turn the key. The issue maybe your ignition cylinder. I had this issue my self, 03 zx3 . They easiest fix would be to goto your local ford dealer and have a new ignition cylinder put in and while your at it have a spare key made. They're plenty of after market parts or Diy but after doing so you will need a key for the ignition and a separate key for the doors. Dealers can program your new key to work with every thing.
There are several things that can cause a key to get stuck in the ignition. You can try turning the steering wheel a bit to the left or right to see if that allows it to release. Also, try pushing the key in a bit more and turn it to the lock position, then try pulling it out. Don't force the key or it could break off in the ignition.
No, you cannot.
The most important thing about steering a PWC is maintaining throttle. The steering on a PWC changes the angle of the thrust. No thrust means no steering. If you release the throttle, you cannot steer.
Yes, as long as that belt was only driving the A/C. If the belt was also driving the Power Steering pump then you cannot drive the vehicle without the belt. You would be unable to steer the vehicle due to the effort required. If the A/C is not working simply disconnect the compressor clutch power connection and let it freewheel.
Vehicle operating space is the area around the vehicle that cannot be seen from the driver's seat.
A battery cannot be drained by a shorted diode when the ignition key is off.
