If you have a steering lock, that can lock your steering wheel in place, until you use the key in the ignition to unlock it.
You cannot adjust the belt tension on a 2000 dodge grand caravan. This vehicle is equipped with an automatic tensioner. If tensioner is frozen or will not hold the belt tight, it must be replaced.
You cannot adjust the timing on this vehicle without an aftermarket timing adjuster or bychanging it through the PCM.
Wiggle the steering wheel back and forth and run the transmission shifter down then put it firmly back into park.
It sounds like the steering wheel is locked, try to wiggle the wheel at the same time you turn the key.
You cannot bypass or reset the Securilock anti-theft system on a 99 Ford Ranger. If the system begins to malfunction and you can no longer start the vehicle, you will likely need to replace the transponder unit that is located behind the ignition in the steering column.
make sure you put the switch in right side up and made sure you are pushing in the release button on the steering coloum -left side and make sure there is no pressure on the steering wheel from the steering box, hope this helps
Nissan transponder keys cannot be programmed by the vehicle owner. Contact an automotive locksmith or the dealer.
your question is not very clean on your exact problem. I do know that saturns do have the tendancy to "Lock" the steering wheel to the point you cannot turn the ignition key. to remedy this, move the wheel back and forth with force while turning the key, sometimes the lock pin can get bound up in the steering column and prevent the key from turning.
If you accidentally turn the ignition to the locked position while the car is moving then your steering wheel will lock in its current position which is dangerous. Vehicle ignitions that use keys have a built in safety device that prevents the key from being removed while the switch is in any position except "lock". In some older vehicles the key can be removed due to wear on the safety latch. In a vehicle with automatic transmission you cannot turn the ignition to the lock position unless the transmission is in "P" or Park position. With a manual transmission you can switch it off in any gear.
No. You cannot, you can only do that on a house.
