It's probably very much like replacing keyboard. There are tutorial videos that explain the process very well.
You'll need a Phillips screw driver for most laptops.
I do you know you first have to make sure the laptop as no power by removing the battery and power adapter.

∙ 12y agoWhen you plug in the keyboard to your computer it will automatically install. If it does not install right away give your computer a few minutes to work on it. If there was a disk included with your keyboard you may have to insert it to install your keyboard.
