How do you remove a stuck oil dipstick in a 98 F150?

Not sure if the dipstick is broken off the loop where you pull on it. Check where the dipsick tube is secured, you may want to remove the tube also, spray lots of lube where the tube goes into block, and be very patient,and turn the tube back and forth at first, and then pull it out.........

To read the oil dipstick in the 1997 Ford F150, remove the dipstick from the oil reservoir. Wipe the dipstick clean and then place it back into the reservoir. Then, remove the dipstick again and look for the height of the oil on the stick. It should be in the "Full" range.

The oil dipstick tube comes out of the block on the driver's side.

remove bolts and clip. Then remove oil dipstick tube.
