Remove the belt from your 1990 Acura Legend alternator. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
remove driver wheel and break assembily. drop lower ball joint and pop the axel out but dont pull on it pry it from the trany. then u have to lossen the alternator and the bracket it was attached to then revers to install

To get the alternator to fit out of the engine bay, you must remove the mounting brackets for the alternator as well. Once you remove the brackets, the alternator will fit out of the bottom of the engine bay. It will only fit out of the bottom, it will not come out through the top.
