you will need to remove the motor mounts and jack up the engine to have clearance. Get more details from the free repair guide section on the auto zone website. I have just experienced this. time consuming but not difficult.

The starter lives next to the Bell Housing on the right side of the block and is held in place with two Torx Head bolts.However......the Engine Mount Arm and Isolator Mount on that side needs to be removed first to allow the Starter to be removed. You cannot remove the Starter unless this is done....even with the engine out of the chassis.Always remove the BATTERY - NEGATIVE clamp before working on the Starter.

You must remove the intake first . Its underneath the intake, in the middle of the engine
In general, remove negative cable from battery, remove electrical wires from starter, remove bolts holding starter in place, remove starter. Replace starter in reverse order.
Remove and replace the starter.
disconnect power from battery, remove wires connected to starter, remove bolts from starter (usually 2), remove starter.
