Put a little clean cooking oil on the edges and gently pull. Keep working the oil into the stuck edge of the band aid as you separate it. It will come off easily with little pain. I've heard acetone and rubbing alcohol also suggested, but they aren't pain free if get into the wound.

∙ 14y agoMost organic solvents will remove the adhesive ,try whatever is available to you,lighter fluid,white spirit, trichloro ethelene,acetone. nail polish remover ,celulose paint thinner
Always read the cautions on the container as they are all hazardous chemicals
use wery sparingly and out of doors preferably.
A safer way:
You can use regular face cream, moisturizer or hand lotion to remove the band aid adhesive. You can also us hair conditioner, which works quite well, too.
