You can refill your 1986 Toyota Corolla power steering fluid through the power steering reservoir. The power steering reservoir will be on the left-hand side of the engine.
Remove cap to power steering reservoir, add fluid, place cap on reservoir when done.
Freeze Out plug, cracked block or waterjacket.
Begin by removing the retaining ring at the top of your 1986 Toyota pickup truck ignition switch. The ignition switch will slide out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition switch.
there are about 12 10mm bolts that hold the oil pan in place. remove them and the pan will drop right down.
Counter clockwise to remove.
you will find it in the heater box, also where the blower is. it is easy to remove.
You will need a large screwdriver or pry bar, some patience, and a good deal of elbow grease. Be careful not to crack the reservoir when prying on it and it will pop off.
The bolt to drain the coolant is on the water pump. The water pump is on the left side of the bike, just in front of the oil filter. Just remove the 10mm bolt CLOSEST TO THE OIL FILTER. You'll want to remove the radiator cap prior to doing this so the coolant drains freely. NOTE: Make sure the coolant is cold so you don't get scalded.

Possible blown head gasket.
