How do you remove permenent marker from a book?
I haven't tested this on a book myself, but I have tested it on paper (computer printer type) and it worked. I guess it would depend on the type of paper concerned, but hairspray will make permanent ink bubble to the surface of material and you can then gently dab away with an absorbent material. Tammy
Can you get a permenent tattoo for drawing on your skin with a permenent marker over the same design for a couple months?
I remove Sharpie marks by taking the Sharpie and a piece of dry cloth or dry paper toweling and apply the marked surface in small increments with the marker and wipe away before the marker dries again. In small increments works best and it will totally remove the marker from most surfaces that are not porous.
As a teacher I have gotten marker on just about anything it was possible to get marker on and never have been able to get marker out of leather. You could try a shoe maker to see if he has something to remove it or go the store where you bought the couch and see if there is something that will remove it.
Credit this one to ID3461356577: "try oxi clean with baking soda or just oxi clean if that doesnt work you cant remove it." If you want to remove permanent marker from vinyl: (not metal) Use a dry erase marker to write over the permanent marker. Get a damp cloth and wipe it away. This will also remove permanent marker from porcelain tile and probably a lot of other surfaces. Any other website that tells you…
I would first try to use WD-40 cleaner and a clean rag to try to scrub the marker off. If it doesn't come off an old trick I learned from a teacher is using nail polish remove to remove tough marker stains. It always works! I hope that you can get the stain out of the wood! I would hate having marker in any of my furniture pieces.
