First, do you have air susp. or coil springs? Coil is easy. Jack the body up and support it. Use a trolley jack under the diff. Remove the drive shaft, un-bolt the lower shock's, remove the support arms, remove the parking brake cable, remove the metal brake lines. Make sure that your trolley jack is supporting the diff. properly. Lower the diff, check to make sure all is removed, and just pull the jack out. With air susp. first turn off the air switch in the trunk, disconnect the battery, with the trolley jack under the diff. you will have to deflate the air bags, you can support the body and let the diff. down. this should empty the air bags, but check to make sure. Remove all the same parts as with coil, and disconnect all the electrics for the air susp. There is a pin on top of the air bags so that you can remove them when deflated. Make sure to remove the air lines. Air tools will help with this job.
You must remove the dash.
