With great difficulty unless you have the correct socket!
I have dozens of spark plug sockets for many different types of plugs and none of them will fit down the hole in the cam cover, you need the special Mazda socket that fits in the hole.
Really silly the way they've done it, you have to spend about seven quid on a socket that you'll probably use just once!

how do remove the brake drum on a 1991 mazda 323
To troubleshoot a Mazda 323 that is starting, turning over, and getting fuel, check the spark plugs first. You should also ensure the air filter is clean.
The correct gap for these spark plugs is 1.1mm. When you buy new plugs they should already be adjusted to the right size. My car book says to look underneath the hood at the engine specifications.

replace headlight on mazda sp20
With an uncle and a hammer.
If it's electronic ignition the plug gap should be 1.1mm you buy spark plugs already sized (NGK BP5ES-11) It depends on what type of spark plugs you are using. For conventional plugs the gap of 1.0 - 1.1 mm (0.039 to 43") is correct. If you are running Platinum plugs, I like to gap at 0.005" extra (0.44 - 0.048"). I get good performance with NGK 7082 Platinum. Cheers Malcolm
The flasher unit on a Mazda 323 is located on the end of the flasher lever. Remove the lower steering column to bring the unit to view.

Could buy your new plugs to make sure your size is correct. Then you might have to go and get a deep socket of that size and the extension will just fit(but not click)into the top of the socket if you hold it right.Or grind down the fat socket!
