I AM CURRENTLY DRIVING THE 85 ACCORD HATCH BACK AND IT IS REALLY EASY TO REMOVE IT. I ORIGINALLY WANTED TO MOVE IT FOR SPEAKER PLACEMENT. BUT FOUND OUT IT WAS BEST LEFT IN. TAKING THE SEATS OUT LEAVES A VERY UNEVEN SURFACE IN THE BACK NOT VERY USEFUL. FIRST U MUST REMOVE BACK RESTS. THERE IS A KIND OF LOOP THINGY THAT YOU NEED TO SWIVEL HOOK OUT OF AT BASE OF SEAT. THEN JUST PULL OFF. (YOU MIGHT WANT TO TAKE OFF FACTORY UPHOLSTERY CONNECTORS THAT CONNECT FROM BACK OF CAR CARPET TO SEATS) FOR THE SEATS U HAVE TO PULL THEM REALLY HARD FOWARD AND UP. i THINK THERE ARE A COUPLE OF BOLTS THAT NEED TO BE LOOSEND NOT TO SURE. JUST GO MESS WITH THEM. THE CAR IS NOT PARTICULARLY VALUABLE SO DONT WORRY TO MUCH ABOUT DAMAGING IT. wHAT I DID WAS JUST LOWERED THE SEATS AND COVERED THE ENTIRE BACK IN A SHAG CARPET COURSE CUTTING IT TO CONTOUR. YOU JUST GOT TO HOP IN THE BACK AND SWEAT IT OUT TO PULL EM OUT.
