Acess is by removal of the exterior side panel. There are two 10mm bolts on top and bottom of the panel, the top needs to be removed, the bottom just loosened. There are 3 Torx screws inside the wheel well, difficult to remove with the tire in place unless you turn the steering to a stop, or use a Torx bit in a wrench. Bolt securing the battery on its base facing the driver seat needs to be removed.

Remove left rear wheel plastic housing cover under the body you can then access the antenna motor.
Start by locating the Positive terminal (usually the red one)... Disconnect it from the battery. Then do the same for the Negative terminal (the black one). Then there may be a small hex head bolt at the bottom the the battery, check for it and remove it, the battery should come right out.
