1. Remove the center "bezel" by removing two screws on the bottom. The bezel will now snap out when pulled out. 2. Remove the radio. The radio is held in by 8 screws. Disconnect from antenna and wiring harness. 3. The climate control unit is now exposed. Remove the four screws holding it in the bracket. 4. Remove the air control door cables (two of them). Depress the clips while pushing the eye hole up. This is very tricky and tale patience. 5. Disconnect the wire connectors. 6. The units should now be ready to remove. 7. Installation is much simpler. Reverse steps 6 to 1.

How do you remove the Pontiac Vibe radio?

Caution: The air control bezel uses a thin plastic overlay fixed onto an open frame. The radio bezel has locking ribs on the bottom- when removing the radio bezel, the ribs can puncture the air control bezel. Place a piece of heavy tape or carboard over the air control bezel to protect it. Use a thin plastic tool to pry the bottom of the radio bezel until it comes loose. Then work around the sides until the bezel separates from the dashboard. Unplug the connectors at the top. It will be attached by the AC harness- remove the connector (which can be a bit tough) or just flip the bezel over the steering wheel. Remove the three 10 mm bolts that hold the radio. Remove the radio and unplug the connectors from the back. GM radios are a double DIN style, so most replacements will need an install kit that will add a blank plate or storage pocket.

How do you replace the bulbs in the climate control control box on a 2002 Honda Accord?

To replace a Honda Accord EX 2002 climate control light you have to detach the bezel - a black plastic frame that covers the clock and hazard lights switch, the vents, the climate control unit and the audio system. Note that the climate control unit and the vents are actually attached to the bezel from behind and come off with the bezel as one part, so do not attempt to separate them! You will need small tweezers, a small flat screwdriver and a rather long Phillips one (and the replacement light bulb of course). The bulbs are accessed from the back side of the climate control unit. # Disconnect the negative battery terminal. # With a small flat screwdriver pry out the clock and hazard lights switch unit from the bottom. It comes off easily. Disconnect the unit from the wires. # Unscrew and take out the screw behind the clock that holds the bezel in place. Be careful not to drop it. (Take a string and tighten a little noose around it when unscrewed for quarter of an inch or so.) # Unscrew the 2 screws at the bottom of the bezel that hold it from below. # Pull the bezel straight towards you (this is the hard part). There are 3 spring-loaded holders behind the bezel which has to be snapped out. The bottom side of the bezel separates easier (being held with just one spring); once it separates stop pulling on it (lest you break the bezel) and pull on the upper side until it also separates. When done, check the little steel springs that are snapped on the 3 protruding parts of the bezel. If misplaced snap them back in place. Disconnect the climate control units from the wires. # Put the bezel face down on a soft surface. Take out the burnt bulb by turning it 45 degrees counterclockwise with a small flat screwdriver and pulling it out with tweezers. Insert the new bulb and secure it by pushing on it and turning 45 degrees clockwise with the screwdriver. # The reassembly order is quite obvious: connect the climate control wires; snap the bezel in by pushing gently but firmly; insert and tighten the 3 screws; reconnect the hazard lights switch and the clock; snap back it; reconnect the battery negative terminal.
