How do you remove the cooling fan assembly in a 2000 Impala with 3.8L?
It appears that you will have to remove both front motor mounts in order to make room to lift out the entire dual fan assembly. After that either replace entire assembly or replace both motors. I would be darned sure that the fan motors are the problem before getting into all that. The front mounts are torque mounts they do not hold the engine from falling out of the car they prevent rotation of the motor which is good in this case as it gives you more space Good Luck!
Start off by removing the top engine cover carefully so that it does not brake............ Drain the cooling system. Partially drain the cooling system. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the thermostat housing. Remove the bolts securing the thermostat housing to the water pump inlet. Remove the thermostat and the gasket from the water pump housing.

Hi, You have to remove the entire headlight assembly to get to the bulb, which is located in the back of the assembly. There are three wing nuts that hold the assembly in, and those will have to be removed. Then remove the side signal assembly first, then the headlight assembly. I have provided a link that shows exactly how this is done and where these wing nuts are. Good Luck
To change the lightbulb on a 2000 Odyssey: 1) Open hatch 2) There are two tabs on the brake light assembly inside of the hatch that you will need to open. 3) Remove two screws 4) Remove brake light assembly by pushing entire assembly towards back of vehicle. This is hard to do. Do not bend out to sides (this will break assembly) 5) Remove old bulb by turning counter clocwise. 6) Pull bulb straight…
LS headlights are easy to remove. I have had mine off a number of times to dry them with a blow dryer after condensation formed. Remove the radiator shroud (pop-clips) Remove the screws that hold the headlight assembly to the radiator support (two?) Tilt the assembly forward enough to remove the low and high beam bulbs (twist locks) Lift the headlight assembly away from the car
