To install a clutch disk on a 1997 VW GTi the transmission will have to be removed from the engine. Once off the engine access the flywheel and remove it. Loosen and remove the clutch disk mounting hardware as well as the pressure plate. Install the replacement. Put everything back together than bleed the clutch.
Yes, all golfs have a flywheel. Dependant on model the flywheel can weigh between 6 and 9kg.
Yes it is a Gangster car- GTI stands for Gangster Turbo Intercourse!
The Red I means it's a 1.8 GTI Turbo (faster version) than the 2 litre GTI.
If you have the 1.8T, you have about 150hp at the wheels (180 at the flywheel).. If you have 2.8L VR6 version, you have about 174hp at the wheels (200 at the flywheel
If you are talking about VW MKV GTI (2006-current model), then it has a 2.0 Turbo I4 engine, 200HP.
no not all golf gti's have a turbo on the newer golf's it's the one's with a red i in gti that are turboed ok buddy If you are buying a brand new Golf GTI, you can request that the model that you will buy has a turbo in it or none. Of course by adding this feature increases the price of the unit. If you are buying a second hand Golf GTI, I suggest that you research car advertisings first and locate a used Golf GTI with a turbo (if that is what you desire), compare prices and values/condition, then grab it. This way, you will get the specification you want at the price you can afford.
the turbo is on the end of the exhaust manifold before the exhaust pipe starts .
whats faster a ford focus st170 or a golf gti turbo
That sounds like a worn clutch.
Borg-Warner KKK-03 turbo, for a quick HP upgrade, you can bolt in the KKK-04 turbo. Your stock injectors and computer can this turbo
Short answer: No. As far as I know, the VR6 was never turbo stock from the factory. The only egines that came with turbo were the 4 cylinder 1.8T and the TDI (diesel).
It's a hydraulic clutch so its self adjusting. If your having problems the clutch itself may be bad or your slave cylinder may be going bad.
adick load of money nig nog
That's a big job mate best bring it to a garage!!
The first turbo charged Golf GTI went onto the market in August 1991. Volkswagen have updated the Golf many times since then and they are now introducing an electric car called the Golf blue-emotion.
No none of the vr6 were ever turbo charged from the factory. I mean you can put a turbo on them but they are all N/A which just means they dont have a forced induction system. They do make a twin turbo vr6 in Europe.
5w30 full synthetic. i prefer Mobil 1
cal vw or your local parts store and they will tell you.
You push the gas in after you let go of the clutch, and it lags a little, or in short spurts of power. sometimes you can hear the bearing inside it itself.
