rubbing alcohol will get rid of it--if the surface can tolerate the alcohol. glass surfaces should be fine. certain plastics may not be. Just soak cotton ball or small cloth with the rubbing alcohol and rub away the glue. You may have to go at it a few times to get rid of every last bit of glue. Rubbing alcohol also takes ink off surfaces and out of fabrics.
