Pull the headlights to the "ON" position. This means pull the knob out till it stops, which means the headlights will be on. With your right, reach under the dash a depress the small button on the switch. With your left hand, pull the knob all of the way out. Then you will have acess to the retainer. With a large screwdriver, remove the retainer and the headlight switch will slide out of the dash. When you unplug the switch, the headlights will go off, or you can disconnect the battery. If you don't understand about the small release button on the headlight switch, look at a new one. You will see the button. It must be fully depressed.

I doubt it. The C2, was much shorter than the C3. However, never tell a hot rodder he cannot do something....
Pry the knob off and remove threaded lock ring for 79 blazer as well all 79 Chevy truck without locking latch.
Answerits either your headlight its self or your plug in to the head light. If I remember correctly, the '79 still had the dimmer switch mounted on the floor. Check the connection to the switch. You may need a new switch....they run about $10. If it is the turn signal mounted switch, it will be a little more difficult to change.
I doubt it as the headlights are sealed and most don't come apart.
buy a Haynes manual or use the manuals available at a public library
Not exactly. '75 used a "dual securing clamps" for each T-Top. '79 T-Tops were redesigned with a "single securing clamp" for each side.
Should be on the top of the left side of the dash underneath the windshield. Check the inner driver's door jamb also.
