Which hose? I had to replace the high pressure hose on mine. I had to remove the radiator to get to the fitting on the bottom of the pump. Its still a bit tight so I would suggest a short hose/tube wrench. The kind with the slot in the end. I think its around 16mm. You could also take an old box wrench & cut a small slot in the end and cut it short for better access. I also had to order the part. No one had it in stock

You will need to remove the inside door panel of your 1999 Ford Escort. Loosen the retaining clips on the window. Remove the window from the window track. Reverse the process to install the new window.
