The doors handle is the biggest hinderance to removal of the panel because it takes a special wish-bone shaped tool to remove the C-shaped lock pin on the underside of the handle. I borrowed one from a car dealer and popped the handle off while he watched, but you may be able to get SALVO to let you use one on their tool-loaner program. It's all basic after that... remove all the screws around the outside, then pop the door lock latch off which will allow you to remove that panel which has a screw underneith holding the doors inner panel to the doors frame. Therefore the opening can be enlarged to create more replacement options. All the interior and exterior casing (trim) will be replaced.

First, get a new window linkages for the side and position you are going to change. I would not recommend salvage parts for these as they wear out. First pop out the window control panel with a thin flat screwdriver. then disconnect the connectors from the multi-switch. Next look into the door handle and there is a cover plate that covers 2 10MM bolts that hold the inner door cover to the door structure. Remove a screw up under the door opening handle. Start at the bottom of the door and pull out the plastic fasteners one at a time (you can use a y tool for interior panels or pull on them to get them to release. As you pull the panel off disconnect the connectors for the power locks and speaker and move the panel upward to clear the upper door edge pulling fasteners as you go. After the panel is removed remove the plastic inner sheet and gain access to 3 bolts holding the motor on and 4 bolts holding the window roller assembly. you will notice only certain ones have to be pulled out totally most can be loosened and left in the backup structure to allow ease of removal. There are 2 10MM bolts that hold the window to the roller so you need to position the window to a point of travel that you can reach these bolts. After you remove the bolts holding the window to the roller disconnect the connector for the motor, support the window and move it up in the runner and remove the roller and motor as an assembly. If you are replacing just the roller change the motor over if you not just reverse. It's a pretty bad setup with the cable and capstan but it is pretty easy to change out. Again do not use used parts unless you want to do this again in 6 months

As far as I know, there is no specific name for it. Windows installed in interior walls are rare, but do exist. They are most commonly found in office buildings. Although "interior wall window" seems wordy, I would refrain from using the phrase "interior window". An interior window refers to the interior portion of an exterior opening which has two separate window units as with storm windows. The correct terminology is " borrowed light", and a light over a door is a "transom light"
