1. The serpentine belt must be loosened 2. There are two bolts that hold the pump to the engine. 3. One bolt can only be reached with a socket through a hole in the pulley 4. The other bolt is visible 5. The pump can then be moved away from the engine but it will still be attached by two hoses 6. One hose, the return, is retained with a hose clamp 7. The other hose is attached with a flare fitting.
This is an awkward job as there is little room to maneuver tools. Also, you must work by feel as you can�t see much. Reassembly is a challenge as you must line things up by feel. Not difficult but tedious and frustrating. It can take a lot of time just getting the first bolt in.
