Remove timing belt loosing idling pulley ( move ab with 13 ranch) after take out two bolts holding power steering pulley and remove water pump
First remove the serp belt, then you will have to remove the pulley from the pump, if the pulley has no holes, other wise use a 13m socket with a 3in extension, & remove the 3 retaining bolts & loosen the lines & remove. . Pretty easy. . good luck. .

Put a ratchet on the tensioner pulley bolt... set your ratchet on "loosen" turn the tensioner pulley and assembly upword... hold it there and remove the belt... DO NOT LET GO OF THE RATCHET AFTER YOU REMOVE THE BELT slowly let the tensioner pulley move back to a resting position...
yep, you have to take the pulley off using a power steering pulley puller, easily found for rental at autozone. the part that sucks is putting the pulley back on. when you figure that out, IF you figure that out, everything else will be fine.
Remove belt If you just want to change pulley remove center bolt - it is usually LEFT hand thread If you want to change entire unit remove bolt at spring - usually RIGHT hand thread
First, Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery. Then remove the A/C belt. Next remove the serpentine belt. Then remove the idler pulley using a 15mm closed end wrench. Next, remove the bolt securing the tension-er pulley and remove the pulley from the spring base. Next, remove the alternator. Once the alternator is removed you have access to get to the 15mm nut securing the tension-er pulley assembly. Remove the nut and then the spring base. Go in reverse for the assembly.
With the engine off, remove the power steering reservoir cap, and read the fluid level.
the flasher is located in the steering coloumn. you have to remove the kick panels on the drivers side to get at it
Got to drop the engine
I'm not for sure but i think you have to take off the steering wheel.
its located on the front passenger side of the car.first take off the tire, then the inner fender and the crankshaft pulley will be right there. its also easier to do with air tools.
if it is like a 97 there are just 2 hoses and 3 bolts to remove. if you are replacing the pulley with a new one dont worry about removing the old pulley. if you are trying to use the old pulley i'd be very carefull on how you try to remove it. It is a plastic pulley with a aluminum hub and the grip ring that the puller fits in breaks off very easily. I would suggest having a dealer shop remove it for you but i'd bet you would want to replace it anyway due to heat weakening the plastic and it breaking on you going down the road like mine did. just use the holes in the pulley to slip your socket through and remove the 3 bolts and it pops right off. good luck with it hope this has helped
remove the front passenger wheel, remove the crank pulley, remove the crank sensor. you may need a GM special tool to remove certain bolts
Remove belt and check to see that it rotates freely and smoothly
remove the spark plug cover. and the valve cover to reach it its right under the cam pulley
drop your steering column... not exactly sure where it is from there but that is the location of it.
