The Prizm rear speaker covers can be removed by wedging your fingers up under the back of the speaker box. The box cover is riveted to particle board below and will brake free with a quick pull. From their everything is accesable for simple(same size)spaeker replacement. It's not possible to mount bigger speakers under the deck. So, if the stock size doesn't work for you, I suggest entirely removing the box and installing a pair of 6x9 boxes easily found at your local Wally World.
No, No, No!!! This will destroy the rear deck! You need to remove the rear seat and then remove the rear deck cover. This will expose the speakers which can be replaced with 6.5 inch speakers woth 4 protruding screw tabs (The others with the holes in the circular basket need a plastic adapter ring.
