If you remove the rear seat cushion and then the seat back, you can access the clips holding the package shelf and remove them. The speakers are held in with four screws each that have to be removed. It's only about an hour job.there are several "clips" holding the carpet down behind the rear seats. they can be accessed through the trunk and then the whole piece will lift out and the speakers can be removed.

You'll need to first remove the rear seat. The bottom of the seat simply lifts up and out. Then remove the three bolts holding the back of the seat and lift it up and out. Remove the rear third brake light by pushing into the center of the holding plugs and pulling them out. Remove the brake light cover, then unbolt the light from the bracket. Unplug and remove the light. Finally, remove the rear deck by sliding it out towards the front of the car. You'll have access to the back speakers. Change them out, then put everything back in.
