== == == == ALTHOUGH THE RADIO IS ELECTRONICALLY REGISTERED TO THE SPECIFIC VEHICLE IT IS INSTALLED IN, AND THEORETICALLY CANNOT BE USED IN ANY OTHER VEHICLE, EVEN ANOTHER MAGNUM, WITHOUT SOME FACTORY OR DEALER RE-PROGRAMMING, REMOVING IT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM.
INSTALLING A NEW RADIO MAY OR MAY NOT BE A DIFFICULT TASK.
THE ONLY WAY I KNOW THIS IS THAT MY SUPPOSEDLY UNSTEALABLE '05 R/T WAS RECENTLY STOLEN, AND WAS RECOVERED TODAY, SANS RADIO. IT STILL STARTS AND APPARENTLY RUNS, ALTHOUGH I AM HAVING IT TOWED TO THE DEALER (THEY STOLE THE PLATE, TOO).
FYI, THEY STOLE THE CAR BY BURGLARIZING MY HOME AND TAKING THE KEY, PROBABLY THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE FOR CARS WITH TRANSPONDER KEYS.
THEY APPARENTLY REMOVED OR UNSCREWED A FRONT BEZEL, WHEREUPON THE RADIO/HEATER PANEL SWINGS OUT FROM THE BOTTOM. THEY THEN REMOVED THE RADIO FROM THE ASSEMBLY -- THE HVAC CONTROLS ARE STILL THERE. I HAD THE Boston ACOUSTIC W/SIRIUS SYSTEM. THE SPEAKERS APPEAR TO BE INTACT.
you must first pop the bezel off. there will be 2 screws over the gauges that will need to be removed also. there are 4 screws on the outside corners of the radio and 4 screws on the temperature controls. you will need to take all of these out and the radio will fall out. remove the CD holder from the sides and back and you are done.
What I would do is go to an auto parts store and buy a book on the car, I have an 05 Stratus so I would have to go buy an 05 Stratus book OR ask the salesman if there is a tool to buy to take the radio out, if you see the tool you will figure out how it works if you are good at figuring things out OR ask a mechanic, good luck.......JL
Thye make these little u shaped tools that you can buy at Walmart or auto store. you slide them in the two holes on each side and pull out. Very simple.
im trying to find out the same thing
Remove the 1993 Toyota decorative radio cover in. Remove the radio retaining screws. Pull the radio out. Remove the wiring harness.
Not on my 2006 Uplander.
you will need to unscrew your dash and pull off the front plate of your dash, then you will need to unscrew the stock radio, then you will need to go ahead and pull out the adapter from the back of your radio.-Shocker
I did this not long ago in my ranger. There are four hole in the front of the radio, you must remove the trim around it to see them. They are on the four corners. They make a tool that fits in the holes and pushes the clips in and the radio pulss free. I used four drill bits that just fit in the holes. luck.

yes you can remove the stock radio and put in an aftermarket radio in the chevy s10. I have a 1990 s10 pickup. You will have some extra unconnected wired with the aftermarket radio but do worry it will work all the same. the wires are color coded to match each other for the most part except for the speaker wires they may be different but will be labeled on the new unit as to what is what. good luck hope ive been helpfull
You pull out the Stock radio and buy a box to put in in then remove the center dash peice by pulling the bottom and cafully the top. then you can undo the wireing clip behind that and by a new center peice that is made for a radio.
read the manual that came with the radio or ask a friend that is good with cars!!
the seatbelt chime and door chime is hooked up to the stock radio in all gm vehicles just find somebody that knows car steros
Not on my 2006 Uplander.
With the help of a Trim Tool, carefully remove the Center Trim Panel from around the Radio. Remove the 4 screws. Pull out Unit. Disconnect Electrical Plug & Antenna. Installation is reverse.....
