By blowing air in countercurrent manner through a packed tower where dilute acid enters from the top and air entry is at bottom. Air coming out from top will have chlorides which can be scrubbed in scrubber and the acid coming out of the packed tower (chloride removal) bottom will have very less chlorides to the tune of 5 ppm max.
