Can you remove downloaded software

To uninstall software, the best thing to do is to use its uninstaller which will be located in the programs folder. If a program does not have its own uninstaller, go to the Control Panel and go to Add/Remove programs. Once there select the name of the program you want to uninstall then click on uninstall.

To remove software from your computer, first quit out of the program (right click on the icon in taskbar or system tray and select Exit or Close) and then go to your Windows Start Menu --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs.

Your Microsoft Add/Remove Programs program will be able to remove, or uninstall, your Ascentive software.

If you still see the program in your taskbar after you have restarted your computer, follow the instructions below:

you can remove the downloaded software by going to my documents/downloads... and there you can find the set up of the software... just select the software and press shift + delete and your downloaded software can be deleted
