Just so you know, the more you try to restart your computer, the more lines will increase (not necessarily red). But to answer your question, there are many different ways to get rid of the line.
A temporary way to get rid of it is to use your thumb and gently but firmly press against the lines. The lines will disappear or most of them will. Some lines may not disappear but it should get rid of the majority of lines if not all. Afterwards, call your company and ask them how to get rid of the final lines.

If you are referring to a flat-screen or LCD computer/laptop monitor, chances are, you can't. The monitor is probably defective, and will need to be replaced.
In some cases, this can be caused by bad graphics drivers, or a resolution setting higher than the monitor can handle. Try reducing screen resolution or updating to the latest graphics drivers from your computer's manufacturer or graphics adapter creator.
This is most likely a faulty laptop screen. A good computer shop should be able to replace broken parts to fix this.
Check the BIOS screen first if vertical line doesn't show on screen, update the BIOS, graphics and chip-set driver. Otherwise, contact the technical support team of HP.
it is not a soft problem its a hard problem.
you should go to a computer repairing shop to get its screen repaired.
I had that for a while, and the short term fix is to tilt the screen and it will disappear.....I do not know the cause or the technical solution (hopefully I am thinking of the same problem :) If it work's, your welcome,if it doesn't,I'm sorry :(
Punching it.
It's called the cursor
The vertical deflection system is broken. The vertical deflection system is broken.
If the line is constant then it is probably a hardware problem that requires repair. If the line changes or goes away when you change the screen resolution for the desktop then you can probably fix the problem through software.
yes it needs a vertical IC take it to a repair shop
A vertical line!
A horizontal line is perpendicular to a vertical line.
WHY THE LINE X=4 IS A VERTICAL LINE.
A vertical line has an undefined slope. For the line to be parallel to a vertical line, the slopes would have to be the same. Therefore, the line parallel to a vertical line also has an undefined slope.
A horizontal line is a line perpendicular to the vertical.
ratio of vertical point to the horigential point necessary to produce lenth line in both direction on the screen
