I had this problem a few times. First fix was a piece of ply wood on the engine side of the wall with the cable through a hole in the ply. Second was 1/4" thick aluminum about 2" wide with about a 1" hole for the collar piece on the firewall, (engine side) It lasted maybe 8 years, but the fire wall cracked in too many places and finally failed completely. Last year I got two pieces of 1/16" steel and shaped them to sandwich the firewall. The driver side piece had an angle welded to the right side. This welded to the rib on the right side of the clutch cable hole after the plates were bolted with the existing bolts. The engine side had a strip welded on the top edge (to form an angle) that was welded to the "gutter" rib that runs across the upper part of the firewall. Once completed, I could shift again without grinding those expensive gears. It's worked like new ever since.
look at the right side of the firewall.
Up and to the left of the clutch on the firewall.
on driver side firewall, theirs a clutch master cylinder. use dot 3 brake fluid.
Where is the clutch fluid on 1993 nissan pickup truck.
If it is hydraulic then there is not an adjustment. If it is one with a cable then on the outside of the firewall is the adjustment. You will need to lenghten it so that you have about 1 inch of free play.
There is NO adjustment. It is adjusted automatically through the hydraulic slave cylinder. Probley time for a NEW clutch kit.
